The Experience You Took Home

We go through life like we walk through a path of rocks. Each rock has its own shape, size, colour, texture and weight - just like no two people experience life in the same way.
The Experience You Took Home
We go through life like we walk through a path of rocks. Humour me for a minute.
It's not just because the rocks signify the hard & uncomfortable path.
It's because no two rocks are the same. Just like no two people experience life in the same way.
Each rock has its own shape, size, colour, texture and weight.
Even when people might go through similar life events - a breakup, a loss, or even reading a book.
But the experience of it lands in us very differently.
That's also why your therapist might gently nudge you with the question, "but what did it mean for you"?
Because it's never just about what happened- It's also about how it left its mark on your path. On your colours. Your texture. Your way forward.
